Nail Tutorial for Leona Lewis’ Grammy Awards manicure

While everyone else was checking out at the gorgeous gowns at this week’s Grammy Awards, I was checking out the manicures! My favorite manicure of the night goes to Leona Lewis. Leona Lewis “nailed it” with Red Carpet Manicure, the first at-home LED gel manicure system. The British singer/songwriter posted her mani on Instagram.
Leona Lewis opted for darker hues, rocking a classic black and white Red Carpet Manicure look. Leona was seen sporting the nails at the Sony Music Entertainment Post-Grammy Reception. I love everything about this nail look, especially the length and shape.
Leona’s nails were polished by Kimmie Kyees. Here’s how to achieve this chic color-blocked look:
Step 1: Paint the whole nail with two coats of “White Hot”
Step 2: With a striper brush, divide the nail into three sections
Step 3: Fill in the sides with “Black Stretch Limo.”
